Upper Cut

UPDATE-7/31/01 -This is Baby Sledge's(Upper Cut) Frame. It is made out of 1/2 inch steel. It's dimension are 17x8x4 3/4 inches.   Just another view. This is jsut the bottom of the frame. The guts have to go in then i will finish welding the top on.(Notice the paint scuffs from the bot before, i am using the same metal from my other bot.)
This is the guts of the bot. It's drive train is 2 Black & Decker drills.   The motors are running at 3.6 volts right now. They will be running at 7.2 when i found the right batteries.
Another View. All of the electronics are still yet to be strapped down.   Baby Sledge's(upper cut) guts in the Frame.
Another thing i forgot to mention. the base board is made out of wood cause i did have 20 guage steel as the base board but i bowed down when the innards were put inside.   Another thing i forgot to mention. the base board is made out of wood cause i did have 20 guage steel as the base board but i bowed down when the innards were put inside.
UPDATE-8/12/01This is the 6 cell (7.2 volt) battery that i bought. They are rated at 1500 MAH so I bought 2 just in case. It should give me alot more power seeing as I am doubling the voltage with these things.   UPDATE-9-10-01-This is upper cut's design. this is what babysledge is turing into.
This is the start of construction on Upper Cut. First i started by attaching 2 2" casters on the front. this will give me room for the hammer mill. all of the duct tape is from where i had test drove it(pic was taken after test driving)   This is pic of the wheely bar. because upper cut was goin to be a bot that could flip back and forth with a hammer, the tires come past the frame. this lets the bot still have the same torque but keeps it from flipping.
This is the front armr. U can see where the hammermill is goin to be because there is gap in betwwen the armor.Sorry so dark i forgot the damn flash.   This is the motor that will rotate the hammer mill. It is a bd 7.2 saw motor. it is jsut fasten onto the front armor for now but will be reinforced by 1/2" steel tubing.
This the front view of the weapon assembly. notice the to screws i did with drilling the holes. i had the motor up side down. i will replace that piece but i just wanted to get the thing on there.   This is the bottom of the bot, if u havent noticed. That concludes the major update.
